How to Walk Safely (by William, after watching Jiminy Cricket, I am No Fool, Pedestrian)

You are a pedestrian and pedi means foot, trian means on.  There are many people who walk a lot, and here are some examples: mailman, soldier, and you. 

Please consider the following rules for walking safely:  Do not go around parked cars or walk across the traffic.  Remember at night you can see the cars but they can’t see you, so it’s a good thing to wear white.  Don’t dart out into the street and make sure the cars are stopping before you continue to cross. 

If you follow those rules then you will certainly live up to 103.

Camping in the Desert (by William)

I went to Joshua Tree National Park for camping with my mom, dad, aunt, and uncle during Spring Break.

We hiked the Warren Peak trail in the Mojave Desert, and I almost got to the top of Warren Peak until it was too windy and I gave up together with my mom. Dad and Uncle went to the peak.

When we got back to the campsite, I ate a few marshmallows immediately, then my mom cooked noodles and vegetables.  When it got dark, I shone the flashlight up to the dark sky and toasted some marshmallows.  I was worried that I might not get any sleep when we went inside the tent because the wind was blowing on the tent with loud flapping sound, and the neighboring college kids were talking.

I slept like a log.  The next morning I drank water from my water bottle but it was icy cold.  We left my mom in the tent because she needed more sleep, and went into Yucca Valley to get breakfast.  When we got back to the campground, I served my mom some food.

I liked toasting the marshmallows the best, but didn't like the hiking that much.  I want to go camping again.

Ethan and William

Ethan introduces himself - My name is Ethan, I'm 8. My favorite color is green. I live in Oklahoma with my Dad and Mom; I don't have any siblings. My Dad is an architect and my Mom is a ceramic designer.

My favorite subjects at school are reading, math and science. When I'm not doing work I like to play around with my friends. I also like to play games with my family and do activities together.

I have some favorite toys and many treasures like my compass, my Hot Wheel color shifter cars. I love to watch Mr. Popper's Penguins on weekends; and National Treasure, Toy Story 3 and Mission Impossible 4 are all my favorite movies.

My favorite musicians are Tchaikovsky, Sarah Brightman, Lara Fabian, In-Grid, Josh Groban, John Barrowman and others. I love The Phantom of the Opera and Camelot.

I love traveling and living in hotels. I wish I can visit France and other countries to explore them. I look forward to seeing my cousins, my uncles, aunts and my grandma and grandpa in China.

My favorite foods are bacon, sausage, salmon and meat. I like to go out and eat at the wedge Pizza, Guernsey Park, Ingrid's Kitchen, Iron Star and other restaurants. And I also like GoGo sushi which is right by our house.

William introduces himself - William Chang is the famous author dad.  He was born in 2007.  He wrote many fact books about China, Hawaii, Weather, and Vacation.

Hansen, his cousin helped him because Hansen was the illustrator. The team moved on and soon he even got his wife in the team.  The team moved further to write novels and stories, and William’s childhood friend Ethan joined as well.  William died on December 31, 3020.

Many people read his stories and get surprised, and that’s why William Chang and his team were the greatest authors in history.
