Short Poems (By William)

#1
Here Lies Doctor Lee,
Spent six months under the sea.
He got stung by a jellyfish.
If only he had another wish.
#2
Here Lies Tom Slum,
Was always glum.
He banged his head on a drum,
just as he was eating a plum.
#3
Here Lies Rebecca Spang,
Thought she was too young to hang.
But she had committed a crime,
Ah, life is but a dime.

Trust

If trust were a color,

It would be blue.

As serene and serious as the sky.

If trust were a taste,

It would be just like a bittersweet grapefruit which tingles your lips after eating it.

If trust were a feeling,

It would be as controversial as joy and pain mixed together.

If trust were a smell,

It would be as aromatic as rotisserie chicken.

If trust were a sound,

It would be as soothing as Chopin music.
